Brakes

MOBIS is producing both Conventional Hydraulic Brake System(CBS) and Electronic Braking control system(EBS) for a vehicle to increase braking performance, meet customer safety demands as well as regulatory requirements.

Caliper Brake

  • A device used for stopping the rotating brake disc by clamping it with the brake pads using hydraulic actuation.
  • Widely used on a Conventional Brake System.
  • Light weight and low drag for optimized fuel economy.

EPB-Electric Parking Brake

  • Used for parking the vehicle by pushing a button instead of pulling / pushing a hand or foot lever.
  • Caliper type EPB: Generates clamping force with an electric motor and gear set. on the caliper.
  • Cable puller type EPB: Pulls the parking brake cables connected to a separate actuator with a motor and gear set.

PIC - Parking Integrated Caliper

  • Caliper with both service and parking brake functions.
  • Use the Ball in Ramp(BIR) or Cam & strut(C&S) structure as a parking mechanism.

Master Cylinder & Booster

  • A device for providing hydraulic pressure to the front and rear brakes.
  • The brake Booster amplifies the force caused by the drivers pedal input using the pressure difference between the engine vacuum and atmosphere over a diaphragm.
  • The brake Master Cylinder transfers the force from the Booster to hydraulic pressure.

DIH

  • Used for parking the vehicle by mechanical operation.
  • Widely used on conventional system with rear Caliper brake.

EBS

  • A device for modulating the hydraulic pressure at each of a vehicles four brakes by applying, releasing and holding brake fluid volume as specified by an electronic controller.
  • Includes ABS/ESC/ESC Premium wheel slip controls.
