Human Resources Manager Sep. 5, 2019




Responsible for all Human Resource activities at the Mobis Technical Center (MTCA) R&D, MNA-PL Sales & Marketing Team and Warehouse in Plymouth, MI. Responsible for all strategic planning aligned to HQ R&D, policies/procedures, legal and compliance, and employee engagement and retention activities within the affiliate, including public relations and branding as a top employer in the region. Having 6 Direct Reports: Assistant Manager, two HR Specialist's, Training Specialist, 2 Technical Recruiters. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR, Talent Acquisition, and Talent Management strategies aligned with the HQ GHR
  • Develop structure for policies, procedures, and processes aligned with HQ GHR standards and guidelines 
  • Develop Mobis employer brand within the region
  • Facilitate employee engagement and communications including cultural campaigns and management meetings
  • Develop and implement HR Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Develop, benchmark and implement compensation and benefits improvements aligned with HQ GHR
  • Risk Management including legal and compliance
  • Manage, coach, and direct HR team members
  • Perform special assignments as delegated
  • Complete weekly recruiting updates
  • Enter gMobis requests as required 

Collaborative Working Relationships:

  • Collaborate with HR team members, including HR specialist, Training Specialist, Assistant Manager, Directors, Department Managers and all employees
  • Collaborate with Sr. Manager, HR at other global R&D Sites (MTCE, MTCI, MTCC, R&D Mabuk)

Educational Requirement:

  • Bachelor's Degree Required 
  • Professional Human Resource (PHR) Certification Required


  • Master's Degree 
  • Senior Professional Human Resource (SPHR) Certification Required

Experience Level:

  • 7-10+ Years' Experience of Progressive HR Responsibilities
  • At least 5 Years HR Experience within a technical, automotive background
